THE GREAT TRAVERSE OF ALPS from 13th to 18th July 2025
UNIRAID proposes you to cross the Alps from north to south, from Albertville, at the foot of Montblanc (France) to Monesi (Italy), on a route 50% off road, 50% mountain road, passing through mythical mountain passes such as the Alta Via del Sale, a spectacular ex-military white dirt track opened in the Maritime Alps during the First World War, which winds along 30 km between 1.800 and 2100 meters above sea level; ancient military shelters and fortresses from the same era; national and regional parks; and spectacular trails that cross peaks over 3,000 meters above sea level.
The road trip specially prepared for this edition, will take you through places of great historical significance, will allow you to enjoy unique landscapes between lakes and glaciers, and spend the nights in high altitude bivouacs next to mountain shelters, or in ancient military fortresses.
An itinerary of more than 700 km over 6 days of adventure, in which we will cross more than 20 high mountain passes, accumulating more than 20,000 meters of positive difference in altitude.
Teams made up of students and non-students can participate, with a minimum of 2 people and a maximum of 3 people per team. Cars must be passenger cars, with a minimum age of 15 years old (4×4 are not allowed).
Participation is limited to 50 teams.
